Maggie Robinson is a recent graduate of Sarah Lawrence College currently looking for freelance work in New York City’s theatre and entertainment world.
After studying creative writing for three years of college, Maggie took a hard pivot into theatre production. In their last year at SLC, Maggie was an Assistant Stage Manager for a production of Bull In a China Shop [add link to webpage], the Production Stage Manager for Disaster! The Musical [link to webpage], and acted as alternating Production and Deck Stage Manager for SLC’s Directing Workshop Festival with Jamie Chen [link to her website hehe]. Following graduation Maggie had the opportunity to be a Stage Manager at the HERE Theatre for their Dream Music Puppetry Program’s production of Sorry About The Weather [link to webpage]. Since then, Maggie has been working various gigs as a Production Assistant all across Brooklyn and Manhattan. Maggie hopes to spend more time working and learning in the theatre–particularly as a Stage Manager for exciting, high-intensity musicals.
Along with visions of the theatre booth, Maggie dreams of publishing a novel and/or running a sitcom on network television. She has written a number of short stories and one-act plays that can be defined as ranging from “humorous looks at real-life circumstances to full-blown satire and sociopolitical commentary.” Maggie also considers themself to be an artist and enjoys making bookmarks and mixed-media collages.
Maggie’s pronouns are they/them or she/her.
